Behavioral Health Policy Summit 2024

Introduction and Overview from Coalition Director Seth Winick

In October 2024, the Texas Coalition for Healthy Minds (TCHM) and the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health gathered stakeholders and policymakers for a day long summit to learn more about upcoming mental health and substance use disorder priorities for the 89th Texas Legislature.

Policymakers, legislative and agency staff member, behavioral health professionals, researchers, or advocates, and more gathered to exchange ideas and shape the future of behavioral health policy.

The event was generously funded by Methodist Healthcare Ministries.

Find recordings from the day’s sessions alongside our Policy One Pagers for each topic below.
